The Parker-Anglin Family Collection was acquired by gift in one transaction from Charles McGlothin in 1986 December. The collection begins in 1860 and ends in 1917, though there are undated documents. Records include correspondence, legal documents, literary productions, and photographic materials. The photographs series is the largest series in the collection. The pictures are the most outstanding part of the collection, with rare early tintypes of early Texans. A well-known picture of Cynthia Ann Parker with her daughter is also included in the collection.
